| Actually I think I know, but anyways: Saturday I went for an oil change and clutch bleeding in one fell swoop as I had a little GTG on a time table and really had to rush. Well I did my best even on a 2 man job of bleeding the clutch but it still feels weak and quite a bit of give. It felt great till I turned the car on then it felt worse than before as far as stiffness. About 1.5" of pedal play before it engages. It still drives and shifts fine but there is weakness and mushyness in the clutch and I know it should be fairly stiff and it isnt. After a nice drive when I push it in to get out of 4th or 5th it is very weak feeling and almost instantly disengages. One thing I remember doing during the bleeding is when I would tell my partner to close the valve and then let my foot off the clutch, I would feel / hear a "r-r-r-rip" like bubbles in the pedal on its return back to the top. I would totally release, not slowly release. I felt like if I slowly released maybe I wouldnt have gotten the "air" bubbles? Is this air? Secondly, even though I flushed it fairly recently, there was a considerable amount of black rubber debris in the bleed catch can. Maybe 30 - 40% opacity. Is this fairly normal or do I need a new CMC ASAP? And is this most likely the root of my problem? Thanks in advance.
